    In conjunction with the 'new to modifying' thread, I thought that it might be useful to have a new to cars thread.

    Car research
    Now if you are researching cars (both what features are available on a particular model and/or a rough guide to retail price), here are another couple of good links:
    State road authorities
    All state authorities have there own websites. Most contain information on legalities of modifying cars. Sometimes it is better to look at these links first before asking questions of "is this modification legal". Remember, where in doubt speak with a legal representative.
