if your ECU is different to that of this DIY then it has to be figured out on how to do it.

regardless of this method I have other ways to remove the IMMO-AO
PM me if you need me to do it for you. I can disable any IMMO-AO in any ECU

After removing the IMMO board from my 1998 CXi the CEL came on after half an hour. do I have to join J20 and RP23 and remove RP24 for CEL to disappear? The ECU does not have a J20 but has RP23 and RP24.
