    EK9 rear sway -> EK1

    hi guys,

    was wondering if anyone knows for sure how to install a stock EK9 rear sway bar (20mm) onto an EK1 hatch ?

    does anyone have the bits, or know where i can get the bits to install the bar ?

    You mean you are looking for the endlinks? Maybe try Honda?

    nah not the end links.

    the mounting holes on the bar dont match up with the holes on the car chasis... i think.

    was told i need brackets/plates

    yeh. you need a reinforcement kit. its a 22mm rear bar. you can find ek9 brackets., but too hard to find.

    is that the same as the heavy duty kit that you get with whiteline 22mm rear sway?

    would that work?

    u can use the beaks kit; dotn know if u can use the whiteline one. (should be able to)

    jdmyard would be ur man
    ek1 ? does that even have a rear sway as standard, hence does it even have mounting hole available ?

    installing is simple mate, but as the others said reinforcement kit

    just adding this for kayo, all OEM rear LCAs for EK's are the same.
