do you mean a warped disc ?

The way i posted previous , was by site - it is not hard to see if the disc is rotating....and there is imperfections / depth differences in it. Other ways to tell , are by offset noise/vibration coming from the disc itself while moving (since different thickness of differnt parts of the disc etc) .

If its not too bad u can get ur discs machined , otherwise if its below service depth u will need to purchase new discs !

At the start of this review it was stated to check ur pads and discs for warpage/chunks missing. But can a brake pad get warpped???

There is more chance of the disks warping than the pads.

yep, you can feel the grooves in the disk brake. just run your fingers over the surface.

edit: i should say DEEP grooves.

edit again: also you can hear it making an odd noise after hard braking.

Great DIY, and this job can save you good $$.
Am I right in saying you should also try to avoid touching the pads/discs?
