start your car up look on the dash for a atts light. if it comes on then goes off then you have it.

Its a yellow light that comes on with ATTS written in it. Alternately, look at the back of the engine down to the drive shaft, you should see an additional gearbox coming off it. Even still, lift the carpet on the passenger side floor, under the mounting bracket you should see both an engine control module (ECM) and an ATTS control module, if fitted!

The first difference from the factory is the wheels. VTiR models receive 16x6.5 directional, polished "fan blade" rims.

ATTS models came with 16x6.5, 5-spoke, silver powdercoated rims.

The next thing is the sideskirts. VTiR/Si models came with black vinyl skirts.

ATTS models have the skirts painted the color of the car.

NOTE: The rear valence is also an indication. Base models are vinyl and ATTS models are painted.

Next thing, ALL ATTSs have spoilers. Some VTiR/Si models did and others didn't. Because all ATTSs came with a spoiler, there was no need to go ahead and install a 3rd brake light in the back window since there is one on the spoiler.

When you turn the fuel pump on, an ATTS will have an "ATTS" light and the VTiR model won't.

(One or the other, we've seen both)

If by some crazy chance somebody pulled off all that on a VTiR, check the VIN.

    VTiR manuals start with: JHMBB614

    VTiR autos start with: JHMBB624

    ATTS start with: JHMBB615

No way that is a fail. Your post is one of the most helpful and informative that I have seen in a very long time!
