    hi all,
i am thinking to install a header and catback into my auto jazz...
just wonder how much extra power will the exhaust system give to the jazz?

    thinking a 5zigen header + catback...with stock cat

    thanks all~~

the stock cat is pretty restrictive
u might as well get a hiflow or metal cat while your at it

as for gains im not too sure

you can gain quite noticeable power on lower RPM... changed my header and hiflow cat but no b-pipe (power loss at below 3000rpm) crankshaft pulley, Apexi SRI... these can get your jazz to 67.9kw at front wheel like mine or 65.7kw at front wheel with b-pipe but no pulley and with TODA CAI... if you want prove I can post you up mine and friend's jazz DYNO graph...

extra power ? in real life , on the dyno - no extra power. Maybe a few kws if you spend big on a aftermarket ECU and tuning. You will only feel
    alittle more pull.

go check out one of the past event Melbourne Dyno Day or something... and see the different between the two jazzes... the white (UBH320) is mine and the silver (UCH...) is a friend's car... it clearly shown which car with what mods has less/more power gain...

I think its better if you try it out yourself...

**oh I was once told by someone, by adding - a/m header, hiflow, cat, vafc II + tune will gain 15kw???** I'm not sure if that possible or not...

why post for if you got nothing to contribute?

and yes having a header + exhaust does give it a bit of an extra power, but dont expect too much.
main thing is that it revs smoother and faster in the high end
