    DC5R rims specs?

    Hi Guys...
Just wondering what is the specification for 17" rims or 18" rims that suit DC5R?
    the width?, offset?
Does the rims with these specs --> 17x7.5", offset +50, PCD 5x114.3 fit DC5R?

should fit, but the offset is a bit big ... the wheel will stick sit inside more. most ppl go for an offset of +35 to + 45

0 offset is dead centre of the width of the wheel in regards to where it mounts onto the hub.

1 offset does equal 1mm but + or - will determine which way it will sit

+ offset means wheel will sit towards inside of car

    - offset is where it sits towards outside of car

stock DC5R wheels are +45 so if you ran a rim of the SAME width but lower offset e.g +35 it will sit 10mm further out than standard.

when you start running wider rims you will need to take the width into consideration as well as offset, sometimes even spokes comes into play when you try to clear 4/6 pot brakes.

not the best explanation but hopefully u'll get the idea

    cheers

In most states you can't run staggered offset on a FWD car. Check this in SA because it might be illegal.

+32 is quite aggressive - I think you might be very close to having your tyres stick outside your fenders.

I don't think our cars benefit from x 9". I think thats a bit over the top and the added weight will slow you down.

    will +33 offset 17" fit DC5R?
Just confirming, since +32 seems to be quite aggressive, according to michael.
