    EK Civic rear disc brake

    i want to upgrade the rear drum brakes to discs and want to know what brakes will fit from other honda models.

    EG, EK, DC will fit. You will need the whole rear trailing arms and the handbrake cables.

    i checked out your thread and doesn't say anything about it. and will any brake place will do the upgrade.

    its a pretty straight conversion
    any good mechanic can do it in couple hours
    depends what they charge for labour
    u will just need new hand brake lines and brake pads

    so what model of car brakes would be best to hunt down to change them with and do you need to get them engineered

    Theyre all the same. OR you can try and find 5 lug conversion which the brakes are bigger the front and rears.

    Yeap DC2, DC4, Ek and EG all fit. Really important to get the handbrake cable, they cost a fair bit. We have a complete rear dc2 disc upgrade available. Pm for more info.
