    Del Sol common problems

interested in getting a del sol and wondering if any del sol owners can chime in with common problems, certain gripes they have about the car or anything about the car in general.

    help out a potential owner

Spare parts are hard to find at wreckers.

Although aftermarket parts are easily found, OEM parts are easily found but can be pricey (ie rubber seals)

I don't have anything that annoys me with the car.

Treat it well and it'll last forever. they've got a great engine standard, great handling (low centre of gravity), little bit on the heavy side but nothing that can't be fixed (trust me).

If your ever after information about the car just search civic cause 90% of the time its exactly the same.

Any questions about them?? Ever driven one? been for a ride in one etc??

if you take care of your seals.. then no..
but most people don't.. (well from my assumptions) so they leak now and then..

seals will die eventually, well faster than other cars
    door trims will crack.
    sqeaks from the roof.
from what i know, that's about it.

yeh as said above, sqeaky roof, rattles, etc
hard to find parts for, and very pricy if u damage it...
seals are expensive, so ur best bet would be to find one that is already in decent condition
the occational water leak, mine only leaks sometimes from the doors, ppl keep slaming them
most are getting old now, so gearbox syncros & clutches wearing out, and other wear and tear items
oh and as tripitaka said that b-pillar is nasty
other than some annoying little problems, its a very good car to drive with a very strong engine...

blind spot isn't bad. Don't be afraid to lean forward to do a shoulder check. lazy fockers.

jase you forgot the fact that the ashtray is in a bad position if you or your passenger are smokers lol and my elbow seems to rest in the drink holder...
dont open windows after it rains if theres water on the roof coz you will get wet
other than that they are great fun and go well
    mwaaahhhh
I believe in dragons, good men, and other fantasy creatures.
