It's not too bad. I just got a quote of $1400 here in Melb. My Euro's insurance currently costs $800.

im paying just over $2000 for a dc2r with NRMA under my dads name with 65% NCB & also 20% loyalty not cheap! if i had my name on it.. it'd be nearly double =/ not too much difference between dc2r & s2k.. $200-300 i think?

damn.... i got a quote for $1700 with just cars with my driving history, back then this year when i wanted to buy an s2k. i'm 22yrs old, had my license suspended twice for a total of 2yrs 3months and i got that price. That was with just cars, i'm now with NRMA and i'm paying $1600, under my name and i drive the new CTR.

you guys in the other states got it easy compared to sydney... insurance companies tend to jack up the price for sydney people. especially people who live out west. ' high risk' areas LOL
