Aircon Question

With the aircon turned off and fan turned off.. (in an EK1)

can you guys still feel the air coming out of the aircon vents whilst driving?
for me its yes..

and also when i slide the heater thing to the right (from cold to hot), i can feel hot air coming out of the aircon vents

Is this normal? (keep in mind aircon and fan are off)

Yes, this is standard. If you dont want air coming through press the recycling air button.

Yes, it should be like that otherwise you will Suffocate when all windows wind up. Even when press the the recycling button there still some percentage fresh air outside coming through the vents

I hope you are not being serious! Have you ever pulled the door trim off your doors and seen the number of holes in them?

yeah your not gonna suffocate hahahaha.its normal for some air to still be coming through the vents

the air is coming in because the vents aren't closed this is normal just turn on the recycling air button as zdster has stated

but is it normal for HOT air to come in, on a cold day..

thats like a free heater !!

sure you haven't put the temperature to hot with vents open?

but i thought its only on heater if i turn the A/C and Fan on as well..

think it's normal that you have hot air coming out of the vents with the fan off.Someone explain to him how the heater works I cbf'd remembering it

since its winter now..

its nice to leave it on hot.

im wondering if it uses up your petrol like the Aircon does? or slows down your car a bit etc...
