    lowest profile tyres

    i no this is prob a re post but i havent had much luck with the search but....

    i got a eg4 and i was just curious whats the lowest profile tyres i can get if i got 14" rims, current tyres are 175/65/ R14 but yeah just curious cause my car has pretty shocking tyres on it atm

    14" and u want low profiles?
    i wouldnt bother wasting my money,
    use the money and buy some rims. with tyres.

    well im thinking of selling the car at the end of the year and just want some decent looking tyres on it to help with the sale

    just go for nangkangs or whatever.

    the question hasnt really been answered i see.

    ur tyre profile really depends on the width of ur wheels. for example u cant just go for a thinner sidewall profile and mantain a same tyre width ie: 175/50/14. (u can theoractically, but the overall diamater of ur wheels+tyres will b reletively smaller - affecting the accuracy of ur speedo readings.)

    if the rims u're refering is just the stock steelies. i suggest just stick wth the standard profile. it shud b cheaper anyway

    u might b able to get away wth 175/60/14 if u want slightly lower profile (or even smaller if u wish), just take note of the overall diameter of ur wheels+tyres.

    imo, dont go for a smaller tyre profile unless u get larger wheels

    u want good tyres? go and buy a good brand tyre of the same profile as stock

    dont go smaller profile unless u get bigger wheels
