    Coilovers installation cost!

Hey guys, i rang up a suspension shop and got a quote for $89 an hr and it may take 3 hrs or more to put them on. So it will be $267 or more to install them.

    1. Is this a reasonable price?
    2. Or should i source it out cheaper?
    3. How much have you guys paid to install them?

lOl i don't know where you went but that's a ridiculous price. have a look around for some alternatives. you could save yourself money and self install them. i got mine installed for $100...took about maybe 2 hours.

Omg for reals, over charging me hey bastards lol
I will try to bargain it down then hehe

I would love to do it myself and i can get all the necessary tools to install them. I know its simple bolt ons too. But i might aswell pay pros to do it since i dont have a hoist to do it properly. Really i just wanna do the rear coilovers first cause if my LCAs dont fit on my new ones, then im screwed!

Anyone in Perth willing to give me a hand? lol

do it yourself. Only took me 2 - 3 hours and it was the first time i've ever worked on suspension. been on the car for about 9 months and they're working great. no funny noises and no leaks.

I know mechanics work for $60 an hr, but just to install suspension for $89 an hr is abit too much i thought.

Yeh scyt7e come over I'll buy you lunch and u can put them on for me haha. Oh yeh and bring me a spoon front lip T_T
I might get my cousin to chuck them on for me then.

This is the same shop that charge my friend $800 for Tein springs for Subaru STI plus istallation.
