    Removing antenna off EG

    hey guys,

    does anyone know how to remove the antenna off an EG civic?

    If it is one that is in the pillar then disconnect the arial connection from the back of your stereo and feed it back thru the dash towards the pillar, undo the 2 screws in the roof and slowly pull it out on the same angle as the pillar.

    If it is a boot mounted one (sedan only) then you need to back the ring on the outside off so that the arial is not held at that point and there are 2 10mm bolts holding the motor in on the inside. Tricky part with this is the antenna wire is routed down the side of the car which requires you to pull the back seat, in some cases the front passengers seat and the carpet on the passengers side in order to pull the cabling out. Alos there is a electic point behind the rear seat to unplug the electric side of the antenna.
