    Skunk2 H22 Cam Spec's

    I've gotten a few E-mails about some differences between the Tuner Cams and the Pro Series cams and I just wanted to clarify a few things.

    I'm glad to see that the Skunk 2 Pro 1's are doing well for all you guys! I was curious how many of you are actually Degreeing in the cams?

    specs for you guys that might be curious:

    S2Pro1's = 264*/ 12.6mm or .496" In. & 264*/11.9mm or .469" Ex.
    In Centerline 98* ATDC, Exhaust Centerline 105* BTDC
    Using S2 Pro Series Cam Gears you can set them to -0.5 marks Intake and +3.5 marks Exhaust. Motors with modified deck heights or head surface may be slightly off from the numbers given but these are great starting points over setting cams to 0*

    S2Pro2's = 270*/ 12.8mm or .504" In. & 276*/12.0mm or .472" Ex.
    In Centerline 99* ATDC, Exhaust Centerline 106* BTDC
    Using S2 Pro Series Cam Gears you can set them to -1.5 marks Intake and +3 marks Exhaust. Motors with modified deck heights or head surface may be slightly off from the numbers given but these are great starting points over setting cams to 0*

    S2Pro3's = 277*/ 13.0mm or .512" In. & 284*/12.4mm or .488" Ex.
    In Centerline 100* ATDC, Exhaust Centerline 104* BTDC
    Using S2 Pro Series Cam Gears you can set them to -2 marks Intake and +2.5 marks Exhaust. Motors with modified deck heights or head surface may be slightly off from the numbers given but these are great starting points over setting cams to 0*

    BTW... just because our advertised duration and lift numbers on the Pro Series cams are similar to the "Tuner Series" cams, it does not mean that the two sets of cams are the same or even similar.

    I wont give you everything... but here are three checking points.

    Stg 1 VTEC Lobe: 338* @ 0.004, 249* @ 0.050, and 84* @ 0.400

    Vs.

    Pro 1 VTEC Lobe: 296* @ 0.004, 255* @ 0.050, and 107* @ 0.400

    Vs.

    Stg 2 VTEC Lobe: 364* @ 0.004, 262* @ 0.050, and 110* @ 0.400

    Here are the numbers on the Low Speed Lobe...

    Pro 1 A Lobe: 264* @ 0.004, 204* @ 0.050, and 137* @ 0.200

    Vs.

    Stg 2 A Lobe: 317* @ 0.004, 199* @ 0.050, and 107* @ 0.200

    You can see why the Stg 2 cam idles better... it's lazy. You can also see why the Pro 1 kicks ass all over the Stg 1 and 2 in the midrange, providing you with a seamless VTEC crossover.

    Hey Tony...
    If it's not too much trouble, can you supply lift at TDC figures on the low cam @ correct LCA for each?
    In thou or mm... (incl valve lash)
    We get a few guys comming in for dyno tunes who've already fitted their S2 cams etc.
    If we had those figures it'd be pretty quick & easy to check / set
    Thanks...
