    integra vs euro?

ok i just want a 2 sided argument over this so i also placed one in the integra forum too.

i was wondering if a honda accord euro AUTO vs a honda integra DC5 AUTO...who would win? both stock, both in D, in a 400m sprint or maybe a sprint from the lights from stand still?

According to Wheels Magazine the DC5 **MANUAL** with 118kw (1160kg) can do 0-100 in 8.7 seconds. The auto DC5 weighs 30kg more (1190kg). You would think the auto box would be a minimum of 1 second slower than the Wheels manual time - so probably 0-100 in around 9.7 seconds.

The Wheels Magazine figures for the Auto Euro Luxury 0-100 is 9.4 seconds (1470kg). The standard Euro auto model is slightly faster as it is 45kg lighter - so say 9.3 seconds for that model auto.

You may find faster times out there than this - this is Wheels Magazine testing which should be the same equipment and testing method for both cars - with 1 passenger.

My tip is the Auto Euro to 100kp/h by a nose

All these years of reading Wheels, Motor magazines alike.. they can't drive for S**TS... They love their V8s only... The only car that they rave about it the DC2 R and the Euro..

And I don't know how they drive, their performance results are waaaaay inferior to the other countries' performance test.. Ok one small factor is the fuel, but that's about it....

Anyway back to the race topic... I'd say the Euro will win by half a body length on tip shifting....

But the Euro is JDM, and JDM is always better

Hum, I reckon the 5spd tiptronic is a big advantage over the DC5 gearbox for sure.

I think the Euro will win with VSA off and brake to the metal launch

but the dc5 has that same 5spd tiptronic...

any reason you asked this question integraz?

guess no one can really answer your question except magazines and real life encounters. the answers here are guesstimates. you best to write to the major Aussie car mags and get them to do a comparison instead. in fact..do us all a favour and do that!
