Ok my frind has an 88 lude that is 2" lowered on stock rims (205) with lowered springs but the stock shocks. Oh and a cat back.

I have an 89 civic with 2" lowered KMAC springs together with kyb racing shocks and 16' 205 rims. Oh and hiflow glass packed exhaust.

now just talking about a circuit race IMO i will beat him. the low 3dr hatch civic really does stick to the road and has no roll at all.

He does have more power but that comes with more weight. and around the circuit i dont think it will make that much of a difference.

If people could voice theyre opinions that wud be great.

    Cheers

personally, i rekon the lude would get you. Much more power 3rd gear and up. And on a track theres alot of road to use.

no way man the civic def. handles so much better, esp. with the upgrades. u shud know. And not so much open track but more windy road conditions.

its all talk until it happens. but i still think the lude on the track. even for a lowered lude, they still handle resonably well with the wider body and longer wheel base.

you asked for opinions, so i gave it

ahh, so now you say not on a track. (you keep editing your posts after i reply)

well that depends on the road really. if you guys are always using 3rd gear and up, then i say the prelude will win.

if its a road where you have to use second alot of the time, then i say your civic.

If both cars are pretty equal, pretty much everything will come down to the driver.

Then again, i've never really run a lude, so can't comment.

it would depend on what track or what roads.
