Will 19's fit my EK Civic Sedan?? Anyone with experience!!!

    Hey,

I currently have 18 x 7.5" wheels on my car and would like to upgrade.

My questions is will 19 x 8" fit on a Civic Ek Sedan?

Please let me know if you have them on your Ek and if they scrub or if you have any issues with them.

    Thanks,
    Tom

i honestly dont think 8" will. i got 18x7.5" and the biggest i can put on is 215/35/18 without scrubbing (car is lowered), 225 will rub for sure, and my guards have been rolled!

u gotta realise 7.5" width onwords is used on full sized V6/V8 family cars etc.

There was a guy with 20's on his ek civic said it only scrubed on tight corners. I'd find a set of 2nd hand 19's and try them on for size and scrubing easyest way to find out.
not being a smart ass... but is that what vtec feels like? turning the aircon off?

anything can fit it,just the harder it is the more $$$ you will be spending.
you will require some pretty intense guard rolling and even then 215 is getting pretty close to constant scrubbing

you can squeeze 215 easy, i had problems doing 225 (which im actually cut, i wanted phat tyres), apparently they'd rub on tight corners only because my guards have been rolled

With the right amount of money u can make anything fit. A friend of mine put 22's on his old VX Clubsport. He did have to have the wheels width reduced, rear guards cut and remoulded and the front strut towers cut, moved and re-engineered though :P
