    its bout 13 bucks from bunnings in the paint section with rust stopper etc. epoxy enamels are a 1 part enamel that is more durable than the usual export paints etc for $2 a can. i suggest a good etch primer too. always sand prime paint ftw

    how solid would these things be in a side impact crash

    i've always wanted somthing like this for saftey purpose but thought that a single piece design would be stronger

    i honestly don't care. i never see it. its hidden behind my seat. it will annoy the crap out of rear seat passengers but i never carry them so thats not a worry. hey it is unsightly but hey i'm not after looks. keep the posts contructive mate.
