You have Dunlop Direzzas @ $180 fitted and balanced in 225/45 R17

Can I safely and legally go to 235/45/ R17s on my Stock Euro 17 x 7 OEM Rims?

Jane's and Jax said yes as long as the tyre clears the strut tower.

If ti would be ok to go to 235.45s what do you have in stock and what are the prices incl fitting and balancing?

    Thanks heaps

    Hey buddy,
yea 235 is about 9mm over the original size in rolling diameter so you can do that without it being illegal in any way whatsoever.

Tyres will clear strut tower easily as well dont worry about that.

they start at 110 for nexen n3000, great korean tyre for its price(NOT NANKANG!)

Or $175 for dunlop sp sport 3000e, aussie made, great tyre as well used as oem on some makes here as well.

    All in stock.

    Thanks buddy,
What is the wear like with both the Nexen 3000 and the Dunlop 3000e's?
I drive Hire Cars part time now and I have noticed that a lot of the drivers with Holden Caprice's run the Nexens.

Are the Dunlop 3000e's a better tyre than the Direzza's you were selling a little while ago?

    Thanks heaps

The tread ratings for the nexen are 340, and the Dunlop is 240.
So the dunlops will wear faster.

Yes We put the nexens on most of the hire cars, and all the taxis we service, no complaints on them.

I didnt have the direza in 235/45/17 only in 225, but customers seem to like the direzza better, however the 3000e is original on the falcons as well so theyre both good tyres.

So what price can you do the Direzza's for in 225/45 R17 compared to the
3000e's in 235/45 R17 ? The Direzza's are just one step down from the Dunlop Sports Maxx in the Dunlop catalogue.
    Thanks
