    FD2 0-100km/h

    Just out of curiousity, what is the 0-100km/h performance of the FD2?
    Is it below 10 secs?

    The 5MT should be a bit quicker.

    2 person in car, half tank of fuel, on private rd, automatic, launch around 2500rpm, did a few run, and average time for 0-100 around mid 10s

    I personally found that in the FD1 AT it's fastest if;
    a) Brake launch approx 2500rpm
    b) As you launch slightly lift off accelerator until around 25-30km/h
    c) Then push down more and engine should be around 6,200rpm
    d) Lift off to let the transmission upshift
    e) Then floor it again

    If you did c)-e) at the right time, you'll know because the car won't downshift.

    I take no responsibility if this stuffs up your car nor do I guarantee it'll achieve best results. Just my experience.

    the fastest launch hold your accelator make the rpm hit the red line, release the clutch when the light turn green, trust me thats the fastest you will go
    but i wont take responsibility if you engine blown headgasket
