    VIN & Engine No. Examples

just had a look at a 4th gen prelude and want to do a revs check.
i just recorded some down and wanted to know if i got it correct.
does a vin number read something like
    e.g
    6U90000BB41202329

so in total there are 17 characters?
    is this correct?

    also engine numbers
    do they read
    H22A M03737
now is the whole lot the engine number or just the M03737 bit and the H22A bit is the type of engine and not included as the engine number?

    thanks all

The VIN's about right and include the H22A with the engine number.

Just remember REVS only checks if the vehicle is encumbered. It's been a while since I've used it, but back then they didn't check if it's stolen.
