it's not recommended by honda to convert ANY of their vehicles to LPG.
the maintenance and rebuild costs willl far outway any savings in fuel costs.

oh and it will void any chance of warranty repairs

to be blunt DO NOT DO IT

    PFFT!

    Why LPG.

Im saying : CNG all the way baby. Fill that puppy up at home. Half the cost of LPG and tuned right more POWA. Got to increase the compression to 12.5 but and remap the ecu.

    Be expensive, but very cool.

I have seen an accord 2.4lt converted to LPG (but in UK I think) see pic in the following website

    http://www.gascarco.com/gallery/album64

the lpg tank stored in spare wheel well is kinda neat so it does not rob boot space, but not too sure about technicallity or whether they have any branch in oz

There is oz company who provides LPG kit for honda, at the moment only to CRV 2.4lt, I suppose the engine is similar to euro only tuned differently?

    see this website

    http://www.australianlpgwarehouse.com.au/news.htm

when I asked them about LPG kit for euro, they said it is still in the development and might be available within 3 months

If it doesn't come in an lpg option from stock, don't even bother.

Obviously not.... there is less energy per volume in the LPG compared to regular fuel

the only gain would be in the hip pocket ....

    LPG is fantastic.

    For BBQ's and central heating.

    Oh, and taxi's.

    Thats all.

If you are worried about fuel consumption, buy a Hybrid, and save all the petrol so we can put it to good use!

there is absolutely no point in converting a Euro to LPG. Firstly, the K24a3's are pretty damn good on fuel economy in the first place. Secondly you are robbing the car of good power which means you will have to press the pedal further down to get the accelleration - thus you will most likely use more gas then petrol which destroys the financial incentive to change.

on the other hand....IF it was a 1970's Chevy big block that makes 600 hp or somthing ridiculous...then yeah it would be worth it, because it might only lose 50hp...50hp is nothing when ure making 600 or so.. but its pointless on a car that makes only 140hp atw stock approx.

    my 2 cents

every kw/hp counts, so don't convert to LPG.
