How much are XXX style threads are not allowed.

why not have a sticky that people can be directed to whenever they ask a Q like this that has answers to all the common problems

ie. how much for common engines/frontcuts/gboxes as well as things like suspension/body parts etc etc

people are asking questions, and just getting shot down without help.

i guess the problem with this is prices would fluctuate.. unless it can be an open thread and simple questions asked where everyone can just reply ?

an open thread would be an awesome idea, long as spam was controlled, least that way people dont need to worry bout being flammed.

    Fair call...

There used to be an announcement up the top of all forum sections prior to the update stating this rule, however that has seemingly disappeared.

Valid point....since it gets asked all the time it would make sense to point users to somewhere where they can find an answer.

It expired (as announcements can be set an expiry date) and that's why it's not there anymore. I can put it back up (I think I cleaned it up after it expired actually), however it was taken down also because we got the What / Where To Buy forum up and running.

So do you guys reckon a single thread? Where should that thread be?

Might just wait for a few of the other mods to chime in.

I take it you guys will be happy with a single thread where people can just ask their questions away? (and reduce the number of new threads created on the topic?)
