best pod filter for NA cars

    hi,
i was just wondering what brand pod filter would be best for my car (interga vtir 98) i was told it was k&n were the best, but some people say that they are overrated and the cheap drift filters were proven better in preformance and sound wise over the k&n filters.

can anyone please tell me which would be better

btw, i tryed searching the forums and i didnt find anything about this if this is a repeat of a post im sorry.

    cheers!

Apexi & Blox would have to be the two filters I hear most raving about.

Then again I've heard some rave about simota.

bit of a personal preference imo, just like asking what fuel is the best.

its not gonna make a difference. save your money and get a panel filter instead. less problems with the cops.

For filtration and flow, the K&N are one of the best out there. You get quality when you get a K&N.

Do you want performance and sound, or is actual filter filtration on your list?
Because no filter will always beat filter in regards to power and sound.

I remember reading a huge comparo that I think autosalon mag did. I will try to find it, but K&N was right up the top in terms of both flow and filtration.
3A cheap ass filter did all right too, from memory.

No, but I did have K&N CAI on my old euro. I will get another K&N CAI for this euro too.

3A is same design as K&N. Definately a viable alternative to K&N.
Just have to maintain them properly.

Filter test was carried out by Autosalon Magazine. Do you trust Autosalon Magazine?

I prefer Apexi because it is dry.
