    Thumbs up Extra Parts needed to Install koni's with super low kings


    Hi everyone i am going to be installing my koni shocks next week and i was wondering if i needed to get any extra parts to install the koni's????

    Everything you need should be there...
    just need your OEM bumpstops and you're good

    depends on the condition of ur old ones..
    mine did 130K they were fine..

    i guess as long as they arent crumbling and falling apart

    The instruction will tell you which part to keep from OEM struts (some washers, bump stop, etc. )

    AFAIK no need for additional part.

    KONI yellow shocks?

    i had to drill the bumpstops and dust covers to make them fit...

    all koni yellws have a LARGER piston than the oem shock.

    this is why you have to drill the dust cover slightly to fit over ANd this is why you have to swap the small piston protector that fits in the upper mount.

    Pm me if ya need help champ ive done it dozens of times for eks and egs lol

    okay no worries i will let ya know how it goes my mechanic is pretty good so iam preety sure he will figure it out but if he cant i will let ya know
