    Dixcel Brake Pads

Just tried the Type M dixcel brake pads and went to the track~!
    The pads were sooooo good~
But it scratches my factory rotors lol

Anyone tried the Type Z? really want to give it a try...

But according to Ben at Touge Tune, he said the Type Z will kill the factory rotors for sure

Anyone got experience with the Type Z pads?

AP Dixcel brake pads and disk is very well known in the UK because its being an AP racing company and heavily marketed by the importer (with some racing success of course), in the honda scene at least.
most rated the type Z very highly for track (0-800C), and the Type M is purely a street pads, some users even manage to kill the type M pads in a track day..
link (but its a japan based company)

I think they were also known as Dephi Lockheed or something...
I once used those before and they were good too, thats why i tried these Dixcel pads...

I got the Dephi Lockheed pads for about $380 long time ago and now i got my pads from ben for only $220.

Maybe the $380 pads I bought is equivalent to the Type Z instead which they said its about 300 bucks.

Either i got ripped at the time I bought the Dephi pads or the pads just gone cheaper LOL

And apparently not much people knows about dixcel too

Dixcel sounds like a porno just kidding.

    How good are these pads?
    require warming up or not?
and are they sensitive to the brake pedal?

The M is probably similar to EBC green in aggressiveness, while the Z could be similar to EBC red?

Those Hawk pads look the biz. Nice and cheap too at US$85 front and US$55 rear.

I might have to make some phonecalls to see if they will fit.

I have the Hawk Ceramics on mine. Good street pad, but they do let you down after 20 laps on the track.
