    Hi,

    I just got a 2007 civic type R and was wondering what the best mods are out there to get some good power gains. Any recommendations?

    As of now, K-pro will not work.
    2. B106 Carbon Fiber battery - This will save you 12-13kg over the front axle for about £150. It will not be able to handle aftermarket amplifiers/sound systems, but will open up a good amount of extra space in your engine bay.
    3. Team Dynamics Piggy back Engine ECU - This is still in development though the final product is imminent, it is on our development car at the moment. They are anticipating the final product twinned with the exhaust system and induction kit to achieve an increase of 45 BHP from the standard car. This does not involve anything more than the ECU and brackets, there are no internal engine modifications required.

    Brakes:
    The front brake pads are the same kind as used on the S2000 and the AUSDM DC5. The rears, though, are unique to the FN2.

    JTune FN2 Dual 2.25” Cat back Exhaust System for the Honda Civic FN2 Type R

    The JTune FN2 Dual 2.25” Cat Back Exhaust System with converter b-pipe is able to be bolted straight up to the OEM header and cat. The JTune FN2 Dual 2.25” Cat Back Exhaust System is designed for maximum possible flow across the entire length of the system, whilst also providing a unique exhaust note due to the dual setup. The JTune system allows over 4” of total volumetric flow of exhaust gasses to the rear mufflers, allowing maximum performance for both naturally aspirated setups and forced induction.     The JTune 160kw FN2 Extreme Kit has been developed to provide the complete package of JTune’s common naturally aspired products including the JTune Cold Air Induction Kit, JTune Header and JTune FN2 Dual 2.25” Cat Back Exhaust System. The principle behind the JTune FN2 Extreme Kit is to provide enthusiast with the pinnacle of naturally aspired technology in the form of optimally designed bolt on modifications designed specifically for the Honda FN2 Type R.

JTune have lowered the VTEC cross over point from 5400 to 3400 rpm and fully remapped 4800 fuel, ignition and cam angle points.     JTune 170kw Ultimate Kit for the Honda Civic FN2 Type R

    In conjunction with Toda Racing Australia JTune have developed a Custom Spec J Toda Cam Shaft package designed for use with JTune’s bolt on products for the FN2. The JTune Ultimate Kit builds on Extreme Kit and delivers the ultimate naturally aspired experience for the FN2 Type R Civic. The Ultimate Kit, based on the Extreme Kit includes the addition of the Custom Spec J Toda Cam Shafts, a set of Toda K20 Valve Springs and a Toda Timing Chain Tentioner. The Toda Spec J Cam Shafts have been designed to insure maximum possible power and torque throughout the entire rev range when used in combination with the Extreme Kit. Toda and JTune have designed the cam shafts to have an extremely low VTEC cross over point of 3500rpm, providing linear VTEC power all the way past red line.     i like the sound of the elec which lowers the vtec level tho, that would make a huge difference

    Thanx for all the info guys. I managed to find JTUNE too. The extreme pack sounds awesome but they said they won't have it for another 3 months and it will be around $13K. So it's not cheap. They are located in Melbourne but have people in Brisbane who can do the work. For now I'm gona do coil-overs and I have already tinted the windows.
