    B18c7 or b20 block?

Hi guys, just need some help out here and decide what's best for me. If it was in your shoe would you rebuilt your b18c7 block? Or get a fully fresh built b20 block? Which of these 2 block is better, higher rev, last longer, etc... Got 4g to spent!! Thanks guys

What are the future plans? Stay NA or Turbo? If you were to stay NA go the B20 block, if turbo, then rebuild B18c7 block for low comp!

Just saying better torque and overall power from the 2.0L block for an NA.

Nothing wrong with the B18c7 though..

Not necessarily. It's all about the tune. If the engine is tuned right it will have no problems revving high, People upgrade the rod bolts and head studs just for piece of mind, but not a necessity

Yep. But you also need a VTEC conversion kit to supply the head with oil. A lot of information about B20VTEC swaps on this forum!

Pretty much all B series hydro gearbox will fit up to any B series block!

If a rebuild is necessary id go b20

Or go b18 and get a 2.1L stroker kit

    NO

You need to re-drill the B20 block to take the VTEC head bolts, they do line up though.

You will also need to use the VTEC water and oil pumps, just FIY.

There's a B20VTEC thread on here with lots of info, just do a search for it.
