I thought about doing internals but its way more money than I wanna spend on the motor itself. Itd be 400ish for pistons and rods then another 300 for the rings etc, that money could be better spent on a 4.7d fd & LSD.

Oh ok fair enough. Any idea what compression ratio you end up with using the B20 stock internals and c2 head? the c2 head should help to increase the compression.
