    bell mouth exhaust tip?

    Hi all.. need some opinions..

you reckon it would smooth the sound?
make it louder (trumpet effect) ?

or both? or do shit all?

Assumption: car is piss loud.. and almost unmuffled

Some of the F3 teams, most notably TOMS, used to run "megaphone" exhausts that had a tapered opening. It probably started at about 2 1/4 and ended up at 2 3/4 over a foot or so of length.

    F%$#in' loud, though!!

No mufflers but we ran straight 25/8 and 23/4 pipes and they were relatively quite (still 94db trackside).
