Take out the switch panel trim (you'll need to carefully pry it out with your FINGERNAILS and not break it). The screwdriver method described in the service manual can work, just wrap the tip in electrical tape or masking tape and carefully pry the front of the switch trim (there is a small flat hole for the screwdriver). Do it with the door open so you have more space. Unplug the wiring underneath. Jiggle the bottom of the switches and you'll see that it is loose even if you tighten the screws all the way. I just removed the 2 screws, seperated the switch from the trim and then added masking tape to the area on the switch where it touches the trim. It dampens any movement and makes it press tighter against the trim. When you tighten the screws, be careful not to strip the thread. If you do, just put a little supaglue into the screwhole and put the screw back on. Once dry, just plug the wiring back and put the trim/switches back into the door.
For the little plastic covers behind the door latch, use a small flat head screwdriver to release the clip and remove. Don't force it as the cover is very soft. On the inside of the cover, just paste a few small pieces of weatherstrip foam.
