Difference in CROME and HONDATA socket?

    Hi guys.

If i bought a hondata ready ecu, could I just plug in a CROME eprom?

how hard is it to change to crome?

    thanks,

I know that the s200 unit is connected to the 4 pin data header in the ecu in addition to the eeprom chip. Crome also replaces the entire 28pin EPROM chip.

S300 is different again, but I have no experience there.

So to change from s200 to crome, just unplug it from the data port and replace the hondata eprom with crome one

Hondata and Crome do not make sockets. The sockets and chips for the sockets are universal shiz. Hondata and Chrome are just rom editors.
