    Don't go by stuff you read or hear, or even think. Just try some pressures if you can be bothered, and make your own mind up.

    kk pplz ive swapped out the wheels for stockies now..
    should i change the front two tyres to new ones or just get 4 new ones(as only the front 2 are stuffed, the rears are on aproxx 60%- i just dont want a bumpy ride because of different tread percentage) ..know of anyplaces that do good deals and what brand of tyres should i get (minimal wear,good traction) ?

    Make sure you have the same size wheels on all 4 corners.
    FWD's wear the fronts much quicker then the rear. I reakon you'll go through another set of fronts before you replace the rears.

    If it's just for the street, and you drive normally, you can definately just put new tyres on the front.

    As for the wear, look for the treadwear rating of the tyre. Each tyre brand/style, and perhaps size will have a different treadwear rating. The higher the number, the slower it wears.

    I use Toyo T1R's. They are a reasonably priced tyre, and last fairly long (espec on our light Hondas), they are quite popular through out the ITR guys. T1R's are great, only bad thing I can think about, is that the tyre is directional (which makes rotations a b***h), and the sidewalls are quite soft. Apart from that, great wet weather tyre, and great in the dry too/

    Bridgestone Potenza RE001, are meant to be the best bang for buck tyre out there atm.
    Have a look at them.

    That's all I can think of actually.

    Make sure you don't use CRAZY pressures. What are you using now?

    yeh thanks might check out the RE001...i dont really know what pressure the stockies ive put on the car are on.will have to check at the servo, but visually they seem to be 30psi

    When you get your RE001's ask Bridgestone for the optimal tyre pressure for your setup for even wear, long life, low fuel consumption.

    If you use stock rims, just use what Honda advises.
