The CU2 front end looks like the car is about to take off as it slants so far to the sky. Just open the front doors and the boot and you will have a Honda airplane!

This is the first time I can remember that Honda Euro outsold Mazda6. Maybe that OCt 18th once a year sale thing really boosted up the figure.
oh yeah that is very interesting

Just thought you guys might know, Honda will be increasing the price for Honda Euro in a couple of months due to the fall in our dollar..my mate inside Honda said they aren't making much of a profit margin on the current prices and with the dollar so low against the Yen, they will be making a lose.

So graba bargain while you still can.

It's already quite hard to sell at the current price. If they raise the price, they can expect lower sales then.

Correct. Honda's plan is to sell fewer cars but gain higher profit margin than selling at current prices and make jacko from sales. Without a price increase they would lose out.

So its a lose lose situation here..

True but the camry is bland and stale and the mazda 6 is bubbly and unrefined. So CU2 certainly doesnt lose out there. I get feeling its poor advertising on honda part. Camry is more of a household name plus they also sell heaps of fleet vehicles which honda never does (do those figures take that into account?). Mazda has great advertising campaign. Honda never lower their prices when others seem to.

This is not a bad thing as it helps to preserve resale values on 2nd.hand Hondas.

Supposedly. But then they go and offer you peanuts for a CL9 trade in on a CU2.

I think people are holding off spending for the time being.

On a side note, I just got back from the states, I saw 1 CU2 over there.
A hand full of CL9's, but plenty of TL's.
