Thanks Alexx,I have had the injectors taken out and cleaned/adjusted.

What additive is that? I once put in half a bottle of octane booster when I went to the 1/4.It didn't do anything.

Yea there are 'fuel injector cleaner' additives you can put in the petrol tank which you can buy from supercheap/repco etc. Brands like nulon and the like. Prehaps if you use it periodically from when the car is new they may work, but using it on your 100k+ dirty injectors wont do jack imo

Are you using 98 fuel? Try it and see what happens

Yeah always buy BP ultimate 98 octane.

It's not the leads,I tried that.

I'm getting another TB in 3 weeks.I think it's the TB.

Though this is an older thread,
Without sound, the vid isn't worth much,
If it's what I think it is check the following.
1: Check / Set TPS sensor voltage - so you're not in over run fuel cut.
2: Check / Set ignition timing
    3: Check O2 sensor output.

    Thanks Adrian!!

Going to change 02 sensor right now!
I set the TPS voltage but I will replace the whole TB next week!
The timing has been check and set.

If no go,I'll get a vid with audio.I didn't realise this camera didn't have it.Need to borrow a mates.

    Thanks heaps Adrain.Will update soon!

Much much better now with the new 02 sensor. It doesn't have this problem anymore! no more hesitating/surging,much smoother gear changes.Occasionally the idle is erratic.I'm swapping in another Throttle body.I reckon that will fix that.

But the main problem was the 02 sensor.

Great... Good to hear you got it sorted...

    With the slightly eratic idle,
Clean the IACV if you haven't already.
Warm the car up & disconnect the IACV,
Set the idle bleed bypass screw on the throttle so it idles correctly.
(NB: All electrical & accesory loads off)
Turn the car off & reconnect the IACV.
Check set ignition timing per workshop manual.

    Hope that helps.
    Cheers

    Thanks mate.It's been tooo long....

The process above, that's to set the idle correctly Adrian?
If the timing is set correct now, will that process change that (timing)?

The above will get it pretty close with a stock ECU.
The TPS has to be correct for correct idle ignition.
    But you've already done that.
If the timing has already been set after TPS setting, it should be right.
Give it a go anyway without cleaning the IACV 1st.
    It shouldn't take you long...
    Say 5mins once it's warm.
    If it works, you're laughing.
