Thread: Rear demister.

  1. #1

    Rear demister.

My rear demister works fine. Just that its not very efficient or not very powerful.

Last week when it was really cold up here in Sydney, I had it on constantly, it was working but it couldn't keep up.

Any way to make it more efficient or more powerful??

The one on my DC2R works really fast....................

add some more element lines, that'll supe it up a bit, lol.

crx rear defrost r crap in any case, too big window, too small element.

check uve still got a decent supply voltage at the element terminals all the way back there in the car.
if low voltage,u have poor connections on the terminals, or to ground, or thru the relay,or wiring is failing.

just get a kit & stick it to the top half of the window.

    kit like this

clean window helps also,if u havent cleaned it lately.
first check u have no prob with the original element
u cant see shit out a crx rear window anyway, just keep your side windows & mirrors clean.
