Fuel Leak from Civic EG B18

Hi, every time i fill up full fuel starts leaking underneath of the charcoal canister until theres approx 30L left.

It's a eg4 (twincarby) and when the swap was made the guy had replaced the fuel tank/pump to the dc2. But did not change the hard fuel lines. Does anyone know if that needs to be changed because i've read somewhere eg fuel lines should be same if not similar to dc2's.

If anyone has any ideas whats causing the leak and what i should change let me know

At the moment i'm only filling up 20L each time and it's kind of annoying

pinpoint exactly where the leak is coming from

pretty much leaks from the tube underneath the canister. i've tried replacing the charcoal canister 3 times but it still didn't stop the leak even if i used a hose clamp it'll still leak.

I reckon they did not use hard line all the way from fuel tank to the filter. Possible they use A hose to connect hardline to the filter, filter to Injectors fuel rails.
eg 4 has 3 line, 1 feed, 1 return, 1 vacuum which should be connected to the charcoal canister.
Possibly they connect return line to charcoal canister... they miss connect the lines

Yes your correct he used a hose to connect the hard line to the filter. Should this be hard line all the way? :S

Again check the 3 lines( Feed line, return line, evap line) if they are connected to the right place.
Using a high pressure hose with right fittings is alright.( upload a picture)
Note: I am just guessing, you better fill it up and see where is the leak

With the three lines, the two thicker lines should be the feed and return line and the vacuum/evaporate should be the thinner line?

No one can confirm which line is vaccum or return line, You have to go under the fuel tank(which is under the car and see which line they used for vaccum and which line they used for return. refuel the car with full tank, disconnect the hose that goes to the charcoal canister and see if it's leaking fuel.
I kinda sure they mixed these two lines.

I have used the smallest line for vacuum.
But i can not say which line ( the person who done the job) used for vacuum and return
I can not help more than that, its your job now to check

Cheers for the guide, i guess i have to wait until the weekends to test which lines are which. But i was just curious: even if the guy has mis connected the lines, how am i able to drive up to 200kms (20L) without any leaks? :S

Maybe you are overfilling, more than the fuel tank capacity. you said u filling 30liters, how do u know how much fuel left in the fuel tank?
