Fitment of 4-1 headers on LS

I currently have 4-2-1 headers on my LS but wish to change to 4-1
Has anyone tried to fit these on an LS?
Will I have to remove or modify my front to rear cross member?
How important is this cross member? not all hondas have these

Here are some pics i found to discribe what i'm talkign about

As it is now my 4-2-1 hurracain headers slightly touch the cross member but i heated it up and bent it away a little but if you dont have one and never noticed any problems I might leave it off aswell
I wonder if it will hit the front cross member in the pic it looks very close and like it may of been cut?

Haha I'm lower 3 1/2" i see how low they hang but all different copies are a bit differnt Ill just have to wait untill i get my car back and see how they go
I was going to get 4-1 x-force copy of jdm type r 4-1 look almost the same but shiny
So the 4-2-1 have good clearance on you car?
I'm also looking into getting some custom made 4-1 later with Charlie at Good Performance and Hakan at Performance Exhaust ones that come straight out of the head and go where the radiator used to be and then down this requiers new radiator and no air cond
If i'm not happy with what the outcome of the x-force 4-1 i'll prollly get those custom ones made more soon and if they turn out good he will start making and selling them

well if your lowered 3 1/2 inches then u might as well forget it coz the headers will touch the ground before u even start driving.
im lowered 3 inches and i used to scrape the stock headers all the time
so yeah its only a matter of time before these ones get destroyed lol

With my X-Force headers, I had to remove the metal piece in the second link... NO way to make it fit.

Car is still the same without it...

if you want i can run outside and take a few more pics of them. But a lowered car and 4-1 just wont go together.
