    momo steering wheel crooked

my old oem wheel was straight

i took it off and put the momo (original) boss kit + wheel on
theres an indicator that says "top"

so i put the indicator to the top and the steering wheel is crooked
it dont matter if i move the bosskit back one its crooked the other way..

went to get wheel alignment but the guy sais its no use if ur old wheel was straight..

can anyone help?.. im gona try turning the boss around until it gets closer to straight i guess...

did u have the wheels facing straight when you pulled your old steering wheel off? If not, mite have to pull off the boss and do it again.

maybe the internal spline of the hub is slightly off ~ try pulling off and reinstalling a TINY bit opposite of what its angling at ( to make it straight ofcourse)

Do what I did and put your OEM back on then mark the middle with a paint pen then put your MOMO back on using this ref

Hey i got the same problem on my car aswell, but sum1 told me it was my steering rack/column that needed 2 be replaced so im not bothering 2 fix it at all, unless something bad will happen if i leave it 4 2 long.

I'm reviving this old thread cause just having same problem. All I did was take the wheel off and put it back on again, now is angled 15 degrees to right. I cant just put it on different because I can see the groove on the spline only allow it on one way. How did that happen? Im thinking something to do with the steering lock. Ideas??

Edit: I figured it out. I'm a straight up turnip :P
