It will reduce any movement from the engine, but in return it will increase vibrations transfered to the chassis at selected RPMs, as well as overall cruising noise.
It won't improve your performance and it certainly won't improve your comfort while driving. You'll almost certainly want to buy an extra mount to do it as you should let it cure for a period of time before using the mount again.
Overall, its more effort than its worth and its only worth it if you're planning on tracking your car.
Yeah the bunny hopping is pretty annoying at times, if you are committed definitely get an extra mount to try it out, so if you don't like it you can switch back. You do get people say that once its worn in, its not as bad, but I think its more the fact people get used to the extra noise and vibrations.
For me when I tried it with a different mount, the extra vibrations and the fact the whole dash would rattle made me switch back to stock.
