HOW MUCH OIL DOES YOU CU2 EURO USE in 5,000 KLM.

HI Guys. As i am new to honda & never owned one befor, How much oil does your CU2 Euro 2.4 use in 5000 klms.? Mine uses half way down the dip stick using The recommended 5w30 Honda oil..

All engines burn some oil. Have you topped back up and noted how much you needed to add? I dont know what half a dipstick equates to in liters.

Some CU2's do.... burn oil.

I think its 1liter from the bottom hole to the top hole on the dipstick. Could be wrong, would double check.

only way to fix it is a mini engine rebuild. thicker oil probably made it worse with more pumping resistance

Ok. Put Penrite 5w40 full synth- tenths in & now after 4,000 Kys doesn't use a drop. Very happy.
