    new owner of euro auto

    hi all, its my first post here. wanted to say ..... HI EVERYBODY!!!

    now i have just bought a Black Euro 2005 Auto -It will be ready for delivery / pick up by friday hopefully. I wanted to do add some mods on there. Nothing over but just nice.

    * Rims
    * Carbon Fiber exhaust tips
    * and a connection for my ipod.

    For rims i was eyeing the MKII Envy ...does anyone know how much they cost? (with tyres)

    Also would anyone know where i could get carbon fiber exhaust tips?

    and what would be the simplest way to get my ipod attached to the car?

    thanks...

    those rims would look mad..but you should think about lowering it first before the wheels...set of those is going to cost around 2k easily...best thing is to call up places and compare prices

    Hi rhath127 , you must be so excited about arrival of your Euro. One of Brisbane's member "Albii" has a set of 18", no change to suspansion system. his is 18x8 with offset 48. tyre size is 225/40/18. They look great on Euro. with offset value of 48. The outermost part of wheel actually sit further out than the original wheel, but Albii said he doesnt have any problem interms of tyre rubbing against the wheel arch or guard.

    Maybe Albii can give you more detail about the brand, cost etc. because he said they are not many 18" around that will suite Euro.

    I think upgrade to 18" is on top of my wish list now.

    if you go to 18's without lowering, wont it make your car look like a 4wd? I went from 15s to 17s on my 94 Integra without intending to lower it and had to after the wheels went on. It just looked too jacked up

    Most tyre shops in Melb can get you speedywheels. They will be around $2000 with tyres - I know that as I once was interested in the 18" Speedy Vertec VR5 and they were around that price.

    mate send me your email address and i will send you a pic of my car with 18x8 bsa 291 on it and not lowered....i dont feel the need to lower my euro as the car doesnt need it to look good and i want to keep the car nice and refined and not loosen all the interior with stiff suspension.
