hey guys tried to search for it but couldnt find it..
heres the situation, im trying to pull out the moulds off a 96 ek and i want to putty it up, sand off and paint it...
has anyone done it yet?
and can anyone help me as what is needed to be done...

havnt heard of anyone that has done it, but i dont see why it cant be done. though i think alot of people just get a facelifted rear bar as they already have the mould taken out.
let me know how it goes if you decide to putty it up. be interested to see the end result.

just a tip make sure you make the surface where the moulders where nice n ruff so it sticks well or the filler will fall out

isit sedan or hatch..easiest way is to go Wreckers..i put prefacelift Coupe ones on my 1996 ek sedan

id agree with the gettin facelift bumpers.. thats what i did.
but first i tried finding out about filling the moulds, the guy at the panel beater said that since the bumpers are plastic they move n flex easy so over time the paint around the filler and the filler its self will crack. replace bumpers would b easiest way.
just my 2 cents :)
