Help!!! Accerlate pedal stuck

My accerlate pedal get stuck and some times i have to lift it up with my foot. For it to stop revvin out when im stopped. It only get stuk like a little bit of it.


I cheked under the pedal if the spring was stuk or the fabric was stuk on it.


So i have no idea what to do ..im gonna take to the mechanic some time this week .. i hope its nothing to big

Probably the butterfly on your throttle body is jamming. Get some carby/throttle body cleaner and generiously spray it around the throttle body (inside and out) and see if that helps.

I've got the same problem but cbf to fix atm as its getting better or im just getting used to it.

its ur accel cable 4 sure so just replace it

trust me fix it it gets very dangerous especially if u chuck ur car into a corner and suddenly need ur accel to get you out of trouble. Ive been lucky :S

just a few other things to consider

if you got aftermarket cruise controll, check it out.
also if you got an auto also check the tranny cable and lever.
iv also see floor mats cause the pedal to stay full throttle.
