ok, my shocks are getting SOO hard that i can't even do a 'bounce test'. because it just doesn't bounce i push it soo hard down and it gets up that's it.. no bounce.
when i drive on uneven surface, the car vibrates like crazy and when i go over a speed hump, instead of the car bounce and hear that 'gas pump' noise, all i can hear and feel is like the car smash into something.
is it possible that when shocks goes bad they become super hard and does not react to small/fast impacts?
if that's the case.. im looking intot this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370264524120&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT
because australian dollar is sky-high that's really cheap... under 450 shipped while local workshops want $650 to replace just the front 2 shocks with some cheap unknown aftermarket brand.
so has anyone got these skunk2 shocks? they are 1/3 the price of TEIN but are they good?
if the above link don't work u can search on ebay 'SKUNK2 integra shocks'

Only if the shocks are siezed. If the shocks are worn out or blown, then you get the up/down movement does not get absorbed and your car feels like a water bed.
What is your spring rate?

if thats the case i think they are seized. they are very stiff. does'nt feel like water bed at all. it just feel like the car is falling apart on uneven roads and a car crash when it comes to speed humps. >_< BTW i just bought those skunk2 shocks, $402 USD shipped. but the rate isn't that good... $0.89xxx, i thought it's $0.92 today :-(

was thinking of getting these, but weres the heads ?
With this kit, you just get the shock - you have to reuse the springs and the top hats from your OEM units.

woo i got another question, i just found out that those shocks are shorter than OEM, designed for lowering springs. but where i live there are alot of crazy speed humps that i dun wanna lower the car. anyone know if it possible to fit shorter sports shocks on stock springs/coilovers ? how will it effect the ride and the durability of the shocks? any ideas?

isn't that the whole point of lowered shocks/springs? are you sure that you want to lower the car, if you have a crazy driveway and speed humps in your area it may not be a good idea.

yeah, that's what im saying. how will it be like to have shorter sport shocks installed on stock (not lowered) spring/coilovers? will the ride hight be the same?

It depends on the shock travel distance in the specifications. Look for that and it will tell you if you can use regular length springs with it. If you want stock height on stock springs, then stick with the stock shocks.
