I have a few suggestions.....

1) Old pac cruise to Norah Heads in the central coast again.
2) Meet up for a feed and photo shoot in Syd.

i just recently got my EP3.. i love this car but hey do any of you have issues with the clutch?
also any recommendations for trusted mechanics who actually know the K20 engine?

dam ma bad i mean the gear box... clutch is fine.. but once i tear it up in first and change to 2nd sometimes it doesn't lock in.. I've change the gear box oil to elf had to bleed it out and that sort of made a difference. Then a mate changed a part near my clutch and gear box which i have no idea what he done and then it was sweet for about a month and now its back to normal... farkk! it doesn't happen all the time i just gotta slam it into 2nd hard... apart from that the cars a joy.. I am getting a squeecky sound when i slightly turn the steering wheel in second and third but I'm looking into getting it looked at by bel garage or Hanny's performance.. I just don't know who's better priced and service..

Going to img this Saturday morning to grease up the steering rack. Hope that will fix it *Fingers crossed* - $50 job

It's good enough for me. I'm not an audiophile or a person into ICE. VTEC music is what I like to hear :)

Seems like something has a slight bit of give and is clicking back and forward. I got my mechanic to have a good look around the other week when it was in for a service and new pads but he couldn't find anything. Has anyone got any idea what it could be would be very helpful if anyone knows cause i have almost no money at the moment and its starting to stress me out.

I won't bother with the Mugen and I dun like the fit of a gruppe m and I dun like having to cut some trim off to fit injen.

However I'd pick injen becos of the price (value).

I put the car up on my nieghbour's hoist and had a good look around but couldn't find any cracks, though that is what the problem sounds like, is there a specific spot where it cracks, like on any particular weld? thanks

Foggies were a option on ep3's, Silver rims?? most standard ones are white.

A friend of mine inspected a white one with fd2 sport rims + cannon type 5zigen catback + apexi pod + early 40000km. Sellier was asking $21k

However, hid were not original, scratched center console and missing/broken levers on both recaros. My friend was turned down by these problems he saw.

Whats the difference between rear wipers? Most EP3 have windows tinted so its kinda hard to tell from privacy glass

Oh i thought when u said rear wipers theres like some special rear wipers that have like type r on it or something.

So all EP3 have power folding mirrors?! Thought they would try to save as much weight as possible lol

I thought there were rear speakers. The photo of the rear seats show there is a spot for speaker but maybe there isnt one inside?

yeah about that i opened it up when i had my hu installed, there wasnt any rear speakers no signs of one ever installed.

how come some come with foggies and some come with the silver rims?

Car looks pretty clean cut, imo.
pedals are diff from stock, so is the rear view mirror. see if there are any other mods to the car.
but always have it checked out by a mechanic just to be on the safe side and test drive it.
Ask owner if it's okay to vtec first gear and see how it goes.
as always, don't be scared to ask plenty of questions you're not sure about something.

spec c should come in factory HID. you can tell by rear wipers, privacy glass, power folding mirror etc.

Does the pre facelift come with HID? But the headlamps are only normal reflectors. Please confirm.

spec c does come with factory hid's just the earlier imported models had to be swapped to meet the standards cause you need hid washers for hids and japs dont give a damn about washers.
01-03 headlamps are smoked reflectors with hid
04-05 projectors with hid,different front/rear bar, 2two (red/black) recaros

It comes down to personal choice but I would upgrade my PreFL headlights to FL ones.

yeah im pretty sure its oem cause its hi/lo hid, yellow cause i dont have flash on camera from my pov its white, parkers are meant to be bright white but it seems blue. ive considered upgrading to FL ones but im getting tight on money after buying a 5d =( had second thoughts with the money used couldve been work 11rs+wheels or a js tit 60rs... well theres a guy selling fl ones from melb with evreything is a bargain 700 bucks. but then again hes got a toda catback for 850! cant make up my mind think it was itrdc2 with the full mugen ep3

yea man. i was driving an '89 camry in my high school days and then 5 years in a humble econobox jazz for uni + work.

The rear appearing more dirty is a common thing for any car imo. There's always heavy deposits of black dirt on my civic and jazz rear. Same observation with my parent's civic gli.
