i saw on firesport this thingo, called the STi driver.
apparently it is a radar reciever which will alert you if any police car (undercover of course as radar alerting would not be needed with them white n blue checkered cars able to be seen through your mirrors) and ALSO notify you when a speed camera is around.

Ill be honest, i am a bit of a idiot, i like to hear the vtec crossover all the damn time haha judge me if you want.
But ive gotten done for speeding 5km/h over the speed limit, copped a $146.00 fine and 1 demerit point lost.

I think this could for me and other speeders. What do you guys think?

With the Beltronics STI Driver, BEL has apparently done the "impossible." They have managed to fabricate a superhetrodyne detector which does not produce LO leakage - typical of such detectors - which current RDDs (radar detector detectors) such as the STALCAR/SPECTRE rely upon to alert proximate detector usage.

hope this is in the right area of this forum

cheers.

...lol...

just keep in mind cops will notice if you slow down the moment they turn on their radars, if the cops find it in your car you'll get into a fair bit of trouble, it's fairly expensive, etc. etc. basically it's not as simple as stick it in your car and speed whereever and whenever you like.

If you get caught with this gadget, you won't only be coming across with fines. You will be taken to Court, your little gadget will be confiscated, and your insurance rate will go up.

I know its fun been a hoon sometimes, and we tend to assume we hoon in a safe enviroment. But its not.

When I was in Canada all my cousins + uncles had these detectors - I thought it was awesome!!!

I don't think it'll be a great idea to get one over here though - If you get caught get ready to bend over cause that cop is going to fk you good!
