bought a CD5 last week (95 accord vti-s), 5 speed

I think he means removing the intake resonator which sits below the stock air filter position in the fenderwell.

quick question, when does vtec engage on a stock f22b1?

It's SOHC and the VTEC is for economy, and I believe between 2800 - 4200rpm? (Artbritary numbers on my part)

I'm sure its roughly about 2,900 RPM.
