EG and EK civic mileage

Does anyone know how many km's the non v-tec motors are good for from an EG and EK civic?

depends on how well its been treated, same said with all motors, but with time an age, the seals will wear away, which will lead to leaks an needing seals replaced, wear an tear.... other wise, a engine will last for ages, just to give an idea, we once had a tarago, which had clocked 500,000kms till it rolled over an got written off lol

D series easily make it past 250,000kms but yeah depends on how the motor was treated and maintained.

lol my D15b7 is at 310 000 kms and still runs like the day we got it at 100 000 kms

but i service it religiously and treat it well

the D love oem fluids and on the mark 10 000 km services, keep it up and treat it right than it will serve u well

oh yeah they hate 90rn fuel -- make sure u feed them on premium of some kind 95rn+ is best
i use caltex vortex 95 during the week and 98 on the weekends

Got an Ed with 285k km still running, the body will prob rust out before the engine goes imo
